Our team is dedicated to ensuring that every client feels respected, seen, and supported.
Understanding the Mental Health Challenges
Many members of the LGBTQ2S+ community experience discrimination, stigma, and marginalization, often referred to as "isms." These experiences can lead to significant mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem. Research shows that LGBTQ2S+ individuals are 2 to 3 times more likely to experience mental health disorders compared to their heterosexual and cisgender peers. Discrimination can also contribute to higher rates of PTSD and other trauma-related conditions within the community.
Our Approach to LGBTQ2S+ Mental Health
We are dedicated to empowering LGBTQ2S+ individuals by providing mental health support that recognizes the specific challenges they face. Our services are rooted in respect and inclusivity, offering a place where clients can explore their identity, heal from trauma, and build resilience. We also offer counseling for families of LGBTQ2S+ individuals to foster understanding, acceptance, and support within the family unit.
